It was great to be able to host your Covid wedding reception. As a starter, we had the venison terrine, which was very dry and tasted like it came from a cheap can. I have been so pleased by the two times I have used this location. £3.50 for stuffing is a stretch though should be on a Sunday lunch in my opinion. When I questioned this...I was told “that’s how it comes”. However, what arrived, was a battered fish in two whole slices of bread. It's a shame because if the attention to detail and presentation had been better, it would have been a better experience overall... in the end it felt like a lot of money to pay for a meal that wouldn't have been that out of place in an Ember Inn (in fact that's slightly unfair on Ember inns!).
